Contemporary and Traditional Designs
Water is a welcome element in any garden, combined with rock, it brings a whole new dimension to the design of a garden.
we can design and create many interesting styles of water features using natural materials, we have produced many ponds and waterfalls of varying sizes for our customers in traditional or modern styles, we have also designed and built streams, cascades and wildlife ponds.
For gardens that are used by children, we are able to create safe water features usually covered with a metal grid and pebbles.
Water features are a great way of bringing life to a garden through movement and sound, creating a peaceful, natural environment to enjoy

Don't lose sleep over Algae,
In moderation, algae provide great habitat for aquatic insects and is completely
natural and does not harm your fish or plants., but if you have a problem
resulting from the high fertility of your pond. The cause may be fertiliser
added too plants you have bought from your garden centre (THEY SHOULD KNOW
BETTER), or food that you add for fish or ducks.
Some people use barley straw, which inhibits algal growth, but this isn't a
long-term cure. Most new ponds have some algal overgrowth in the first year, and
so don't worry too soon. Shade as much of the water as possible with lilies and
other aquatic plants. Algae requires sunlight.
Continually removing algae will eventually lower the nutrient levels. There are
chemicals that will kill algae but the dead algae sinks to the bottom and rots,
providing more nutrients for a fresh new bloom. Therefore you will have to add
more and so the cycle starts over again.
